Criteria

All physicians licensed to practice in Nova Scotia, medical students, and residents (including fellows) can join Doctors Nova Scotia.

Membership with Doctors Nova Scotia requires that one of the following criteria is met:

• A licensed physician in Nova Scotia. Physicians licensed to practice medicine in Nova Scotia are required to be a member of Doctors Nova Scotia according to the province’s Medical Act.
• A student enrolled in Dalhousie Medical School.
• Members-in-training who belong to the Professional Association of Residents for the Maritime Provinces (PARI-MP) or are fellows under the sponsorship of a licensed physician in Nova Scotia.
