The Doctors Nova Scotia communications department liaises with news media to provide clear, accessible and timely information.

The department issues news releases and arranges for interviews with the association President on topical issues.

The communications department also:

• shares information about the association’s activities with its partners and the public
• produces an annual report and a monthly member magazine
• participates in health promotion activities
