Reasons to Quit

There are a lot of reasons to quit smoking. Here are a few you may not have considered.

Quitting smoking:

  • reduces your chances of getting lung cancer and other lung diseases;

  • reduces your chances of having a stroke or heart attack;

  • gives you the opportunity to see your children and grandchildren grow up;

  • protects your loved ones from second-hand smoke;

  • means you will have fewer coughs, colds, and earaches;

  • gives you better smelling clothes, hair, breath, home and car;

  • means you can climb stairs and walk without getting out of breath;

  • makes your food taste better; and

  • frees up a lot of money for leisure and entertainment.
