Go Smoke Free

Every year in Nova Scotia 1,600 people die from smoking and another 200 die from illnesses connected to second-hand smoke.

The doctors of the province want all Nova Scotians who smoke to take the first step and talk with their doctor about quitting.

Remember, the biggest decision is the one to quit smoking. Once you have decided to take that step, keep in mind that there are resources and support systems out there that you can turn to for help, your family doctor and this website are two of them.
